Objective

Promote a £5 off coupon redemption offer at Tesco to drive footfall.

Strategy

Used geo-fence technology, a location based service that sends messages to smartphone users who are in a targeted geographic area, to reach females ages 25-54 years old who live within specific Tesco store’s catchment area. A picture message was delivered via mobile phone that directed consumers to redeem the £5 off coupon online or in store.
